TipCalc Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 8, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how the TipCalc mobile app handles information. TipCalc is published by Coding Guru. We keep this simple: the app does not collect or ask you for any personal information.

Information the app collects

TipCalc has no account, no login, and no sign-up. It does not ask for your name, email, contacts, location, or any other personal information, and it does not send your bill amounts, tips, or calculations anywhere. Those exist only on your device while you use the app.

Settings saved on your device

The app remembers your preferences (such as your last tip percentage, number of people, pre-tax setting, and light or dark mode) so it opens the way you left it. This information is stored only on your device and is never transmitted to us or anyone else. Uninstalling the app removes it.

Advertising

TipCalc is free and displays a banner advertisement provided by Google AdMob. To serve ads, Google and its partners may collect and use certain information, such as your device’s advertising identifier and general device and usage data, in accordance with Google’s own policies. We do not control and are not responsible for the data practices of Google’s advertising services.

You can learn how Google uses this information at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. You can manage or reset your advertising identifier in your device’s privacy settings.

Children

TipCalc is a general-audience utility and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
